Gail's Banana Nut Bread

 

Ingredients:  

1 c. oil 2 ½ c. sugar
4 eggs 6 T. buttermilk
3 or 4 bananas (mashed, ripe)      2 ½ c. self-rising flour
2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 c. pecans, chopped

 

 

Directions:

Cream oil and sugar.  Add eggs, beating well.  Add buttermilk, bananas and flour.  Blend well.  Add pecans and vanilla.  Mix well.  Bake in 3 aluminum loaf pans for 1 ½ hours at 300 degrees.
