HASKELL FUN FLY

Zack and Dick went to Haskell on June 5. Messy road to field but we got there. Dick won the raffle (Airtronics VG400 radio with flight kit). Zack lost his Thunderbolt to apparent radio failure. Was a shame to see grown man ...... well he held stiff upper lip.

Zack had some good flights on the Thunderbolt before it went its own way. Also, his Corsair flew great until engine died and had rough dead stick landing in the rough field.

Dick flew his Uproar and Mini Long John successfully.

One pilot from Oklahoma had several electrics that were basicllly styrofoam with good motors/batteries and he was phenomenal!

GRHAHM R/C ROUNDUP

Check out the flyer for the Sept R/C ROUNDUP on the Schd Events page. Let Dick know if there is need to change anything. Dick agreed to coordinate this event.

GRCF HATS AND SHIRTS

!!!!! Reduced !!!!! To encourage club members to purchase and wear GRCF Club shirts and hats, prices are being dropped substantially (below cost). Consider supporting and advertising our club by wearing Club gear when attending any R/C activity.

We have hats and polo shirts with GRCF logo embroirdered on them. They are light grey and display our logo nicely. Also some patches of the logo that can be sewn onto anything but these will not be available until later this month. Shirts are $20 and hats $8. Patches are $5. Contact Glenda at Zack's offices (549-0436) to arrange for pick up or can do at a regular meeting. Note that it is cash on delivery.
