ROGER'S PASSING

My good friend and many of yours also, Roger Robinson, passed away Friday, Feb 22. He is survived by his wife, Louis and several children (I think 2 sons and a daughter plus some grand kids). This will leave a big hole in our club as Roger was probably the most active flyer amoung us. One person I talked to recalled the many mornings passing the field and seeing Rog out there flying.

FEB 3 CLUB FLY-IN RESULTS:

We had half a dozen pilots out flying. Even though it was cold, a few spectators showed up. We are improving: last time we had 0 and this time we had about 4. We will continue to attract local people as observe our activities.

FIELD SIGN SELECTED

A sign 4' x 8' double sided sign will be constructed. Vic Baily will be contacted to construct and paint the sign. Club will reimburse Vic for materials. Thanks to Vick for donating his time and talent. Our objective is to have it up before our scheduled June 8 event. Click here to see the sign.
