NEW FIELD MANAGER

LLoyd Mcafee has agreed to serve as Field Manager. Big job. Good luck LLoyd. And nice job of mowing the field and road.

CLUB FLYING EXHIBITION

On Sunday December 2, the Graham Radio Controlled Flying club met to put on a flying show for general public viewing. We had a good turnout of pilots flying. However, there were no visitors including those groups that had specifically requested such an event.

All was not lost as we had an extremely nice flying day. Billy flew his 300 extra several times with some dazzling maneuvers. Brad got a few minutes free time and flew the Sig Something Extra - what a pleasure to watch him put it thru its paces. Billy flew Marney's Butterfly helping him get it trimmed out. Roger had his SoarStar up in the clouds giving Marney some training time. Ernie had his ducted fan jet to show but it wasn't quite ready to fly. LLoyd made several flights and some pretty nice landings -- don't ask him about the near miss thouth. Finally, Dick showed his UpRoar and flew his Wingo and made several upstart launches of his Bug glider. Zack broke away from his daughters school presentation for a brief stay to see how things were going. Charlie stopped by to see what was happening.

After the flying was done, the EVENTs committee met. Bob will have input for us at the Next meeting.

We need to have more such gatherings for our own pleasure. I think we all enjoyed the day.
