JUNE 2 FLY-IN:
Our event went smoothly but the crowd was smaller than expected.
We had about 10 pilots flying.
The "Climb & Glide" was spectacular-the guy stayed up for about 10 minutes.
"Poker" was complicated by a rather strong cross wind.
I enjoyed the "dog fight" put on by 2 fighter pilots.
Maybe someone will send me photos to add to this.

NEW GATE:
Zack and his crew completed the new entrance to the Lake Side Air Park.
Very nice and convenient now.
But it is kind of hard to locate from FM 61 due to the grassy entry.
Perhaps Zack can do something about that.
There is a new combination.
Check previous emails from Zack for combination.
SOUTHWESTERN AEROMODELING CONFERENCE
Some people went.
Vick was impressed with some of the electrics to the point of ordering one.
