The February meeting held at Martin Pipe and Supply was called to order at 7:05 PM by President Martin. Present were Bill Martin, Richard Herndon, Doc Docstader, Zack Burkett, III, Oliver Watson, Marilyn Watson, Brad Brock, Bob Castor, Mary Castor, Dick Rovnyak and guest Marc Moon from Mineral Wells.
Minutes of the January meeting were not available.
Communications: Burkett reported receipt of flyers on 2 events: Texas Chief's Spring Sailplane Contest, April 9-10, 2005 at Knox City, and the Texas Rotorcraft Association Gyroplane "Get Together" at Olney Airport on April 23, 2005. Martin reported receipt of a flyer on the Weatherford Swap Meet on March 25 and 26, 2005.
Officer Reports: Treasurer Burkett reported a gain YTD of $78.00 and cash in bank of $1,055.88. By consensus, the renewal of the donation of a subscription to Model Aviation for Graham High School was approved. Burkett reminded all members that 2005 club dues were due on February 1 and that AMA memberships also needed to be renewed.
Safety Officer Castor reported on two articles of interest in Model Aviation and emphasized the need for all members to review the AMA Safety Rules.
Committee Reports: Events Committee Chairman Castor led a discussion on the 2005 events. Dick Rovnyak will serve as CD for the May 7 event. Specifics of the May event:

- Date: May 7 (rain date May 8)
- Contests: Climb and Glide, Fighter Attack
- Prizes: Contest winners-$50 merchandise; Pilots' Choice
Best of Show-Plaque
- Entry Fee $15 (includes meal); Meal for non-pilots $5.
- Work Day set for Friday, May 6
- Contest Practice Session set for Saturday, April 30
The fall Graham R/C Roundup is set for Saturday, September 10, 2005. Castor will serve as CD.
Public Relations Committee Chairman Rovnyak recommended Brock to take over PR Committee. Brock agreed. Brock also has assumed the management of the club's internet website.
Field Committee: Burkett reported receipt of an email from Marney Ignacio that he would not be active in the club this year. Martin agreed to assume the Field Committee chair.
Membership Committee: Chairman Burkett led a brief discussion on membership recruitment.
Unfinished Business: Richard Herndon agreed to coordinate the club's participation in the April 23 Texas Rotorcraft Association event at Olney.
New Business: Martin will set a date for the March meeting, to be a flying session at Lakeside Airpark.
Burkett and Martin agreed to coordinate with Marc Moon to schedule an Intro Pilot flying session with Moon.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
