GRAHAM R/C FLYERS
REGULAR MEETING
Nov 2, 2004

The November meeting of Graham R/C Flyers was held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2004, at Zack Burkett Co. Attending were Zack Burkett, III, Marney Ignacio, Dick Rovnyak, Doc Dockstader, Richard Herndon, Curtis Herndon, Bob Castor, Mary Castor, Ryan Mulvaney, and Oliver Watson. Guests in attendance were Marilyn Watson, Sheryl Mulvaney, John Gadberry (Olney), Bob O'Dell (Olney), and Freddie Joe Key (Olney).

The minutes for the July 12, 2004 Regular Meeting were approved .

Communications: None

Officer Reports: Secretary-Treasurer Burkett reported the club shows $1,123.76 cash in bank Gain year-to-date is $75.99.

Committee Reports: Field Committee Chairman Ignacio reported substantial damage from wild hogs. After discussion, it was agreed to try using a double wire on the hot wire fence to preclude hogs from entering the site.

Events Committee: Bob Castor agreed to submit the information to AMA for the spring event set for May 7, 2005 (rain date of May 8), same format as for the 2004 event which was rained out. Dick Rovnyak agreed to serve as Contest Director, even though he expects to have moved to the Azle area by that time. The Graham R/C Roundup date was confirmed for September 10, 2005, rain date of September 11.

Public Relations Committee: Rovnyak reported his move to Azle and asked for volunteers to assume the duties of managing the club's website.

Membership Committee: No report.

Unfinished Business: A short de-briefing was held on the R/C Roundup held September 11. Castor encouraged more club members to actively participate in future events as pilots. Burkett reported the event showed a small financial gain, with substantial inventory still on the shelf of prizes and grab bag items not awarded due to the spring event's cancellation.

Burkett reported acquisition of two picnic tables for the pavilion.

New Business: Due to no candidates having announced for 2005-2006 officer positions, a motion was offered and duly passed to conduct the election at a December 14, 2005 meeting, to be followed by a Christmas party for club members and their families. Burkett and Sheryl Mulvaney agreed to organize the meeting/party.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
