The April meeting of Graham R/C Flyers was held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 12, 2004, at Zack Burkett Co. Attending were Zack Burkett, III, Bill Martin, Marney Ignacio, Dick Rovnyak, Doc Dockstader, Richard Herndon, Oliver and Marilyn Watson, Brad Brock and Curtis Herndon.
The minutes for the March 15 Regular Meeting were approved with corrections.
Communications: Burkett reported receipt of a flyer (passed around) on the Haskell Texas Chiefs event set for June 5, 2004.
Officer Reports: Secretary-Treasurer Burkett reported a gain for 2004 of $200.00. Since inception, the club shows a $1,247.77 gain (cash in bank).
Committee Reports: Field Committee Chairman Ignacio reported plans to mow the close-in areas with Bill Martin agreeing to handle the large area mowing. Tape streamers were suggested for the hot-wire posts. Burkett reported completion of the new hot-mix asphalt overlay on the runway and plans to use patching material to transition to the runway edge at the approach area on the west side.
Membership Committee: Brad Brock was approved by unanimous vote for re-instatement. He also agreed to resume the duties of Safety Officer, and Bob Castor was relieved of his interim position as Safety Officer.
Events Committee: The duties and responsibilities for the May 1 event were reviewed.

April 30 was set as final set-up day for the May 1 event.
New Business: Rovnyak brought two airplanes donated to the club. It was agreed to raffle them off at the September event.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
