The regular monthly meeting of Graham R/C Flyers was held on Monday, August 13, 2001at Zack Burkett Co. offices. President Jackson called the meeting to order at 7:09 p.m.
Attending were members Zack Burkett, III, Vic Bailey, Roger Robinson, Dick Rovnyak, Bob Castor and President Jackson. Guest: Mrs. Bob Castor.
President Jackson reported that the July meeting had only four members present and no formal minutes were taken.

REPORTS OF OFFICERS
Treasurer Burkett reported cash in bank of $1,614.74.

NEW BUSINESS
Establishment of Standing Committees President Jackson stated his desire to establish a committee structure to better facilitate the clubs activities. The following standing committees were discussed: Public Relations (Rovnyak agreed to chair); Events (Jackson will contact Brock as to his willingness to chair this committee); Field (Bailey agreed to chair); Membership (Burkett agreed to chair); Introductory Pilot Program (Jackson agreed to chair).
A questionnaire is to be mailed to each member informing them of these new committees and asking them to state a preference for serving on a committee. Included with the questionnaire will be a reminder of the September meeting and the importance of member attendance at the meetings. Burkett will handle the questionnaire and reminder.
Castor reported on upcoming events scheduled by the Wichita Falls RC Club, in particular their September 29 Um- teenth Annual Fun-Fly-In at Jaycee Park. Also, Castor offered some nice trophies to the club for use at future events. The trophies were referred to the new Events Committee for recommendation on the best use of them.
PROGRAM
Burkett gave a program on his P-47D Thunderbolt (Jug).
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
